This center is one of the most important tourist attractions in Dallas. White Rock Lake Park
The park was established in 1911, and is nowadays the city’s best spot for hiking, biking or having a picnic. Spend a morning or afternoon here reading a book, and don’t forget to do some bird watching as well. You can also pack some snacks and have a picnic while watching people pass by.

Dallas Zoo
The Dallas Zoo is the home to more than 8000 species of animals. A family vacation will be much more entertaining if you bring your kids here on a sunny day, Beside getting close to the animals, you can also check out the seasonal events.

Dallas Botanical Garden
The 66 acre garden features a beautiful selection of exotic flowers such as azaleas, plants and fall exhibits. Here you will get the chance to see the rare azalea Huang Collection, so the arboretum is definitely worth a trip.

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science
This new museum has quickly become a must see in Dallas. Located in the famous Arts Center, the museum includes an outdoor plaza, a huge theater that shows the newest movies as well as various restaurants.

Shopping at NorthPark Center
If you are a big shopping fan, you can engage in some well deserved retail therapy at the NorthPark Center. The malls includes stores of many designer names like Tiffany and Burberry. If you can’t afford designer shopping, you can always do some window shopping instead.

Dallas World Aquarium
This unique aquarium is not your average amusement park. You will be able to watch some fantastic Mayan performances here, watch crocodiles feed and see the multitude of exotic birds. This spot is ideal for kids, but also for young families with babies.

The Sixth Floor Museum
If you are interested in the life of JF Kennedy, this is the best place to go. The museum is situated at Dealey Plaza and features interviews, artifacts and photos of the famous American president.
